Mid-18th c. English Tripod Table

This is a top-grade Cuban mahogany tripod table. Made around c1750, the beautiful single slab top is sitting on a hinged four pillar “birdcage.” This enables the top to tilt up and rotate, in turn, on a spirally-fluted baluster column and three cabriolet legs ending with a pad foot. This table is most likely English, but may be Irish. The color and patination is outstanding with the original finish.
